Huge response to Yoga Sammelan
NAGPUR: It was an out of the world experience for Daniela Bohl from Germany, a member of Ecumenical Sangam, after attending the first day of the serene gathering of Virat Yoga Sammelan organized by Shri Janardan Swami Yogabhyasi Mandal jointly with Ramtek-based Kavi Kulguru Sanskrit University, at Ram Nagar.
"It was not very different from what I practice in Germany, but some moments were exceptionally peaceful like the end Om session," she said.

Over 3,000 people assembled for the programme which started at 5.55am with Ishwar Pranidan a way of purification of the body. It further progressed with a two-hour Yogabhyas Varg and one and all participated in doing the exercises.
"These exercises have immense health benefits. They not only make the body healthier but also reduce mental pressure and are a cure to various illnesses like blood pressure, diabetes, depression and others," Yogabhyasi Mandal secretary Ram Khandwe said.
There were lectures on various topics throughout the day by famous speakers who spoke on subjects like Ashthangyog-darshan (the eighth limb), Dhyan Ek Yoga Prakriya and the yog that Vashisth Rishi taught Lord Rama. For some of the participants it was quite an unusual experience. "Though the Aasan session took two hours, I felt it could've lasted longer. It was such a refreshing and energizing session that there was no strain felt at all," said Dr Dinesh Bapat.

While management trainer Sanjay Arora said "Uthith Vivek Aasan was done in the early parts of the morning while it was still dark, but after the Aasan got over and when I opened my eyes it was dawn, that's an indescribable feeling."
